New Patient Info
The real question should be: Why not us? Because we provide our patient’s with the latest advancements in orthodontic treatment at an affordable treatment fee. It’s simple, we keep our costs low and therefore we keep our treatment fees low. We are proud to offer Invisalign® or Clear Ceramic Braces, especially because they are available options for most patients.
Our Treatment Philosophy
Our philosophy is straightforward: Keep it simple, keep it short, and keep it affordable! Our esthetic focused orthodontic practice provides patients of all ages with excellent orthodontic results in realistic treatment times.
Before braces are placed, we recommend that patients visit their general dentist for a cleaning and exam, and have any necessary fillings completed.
Patients should visit their general dentist every 6 months for a thorough examination, cleaning, and necessary radiographs before, during, and after orthodontic treatment. Before each orthodontic appointment, patients are encouraged to brush and floss their teeth.
Your orthodontic appointments are scheduled to fit your busy lifestyle. Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 48-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. We appreciate your cooperation and will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
Orthodontic treatment may last from a few months to more than thirty months, though this will vary depending on your individual case. Appointments are typically scheduled 4 to 10 weeks apart. Your cooperation in keeping scheduled orthodontic appointments, maintaining proper hygiene, and taking care of your braces may allow you to finish your orthodontic treatment early.
Your First Visit
We look forward to meeting you on your first visit and we will help you get acquainted with our office and learn about your orthodontic treatment. We understand that each patient's orthodontic treatment is different and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve. Your first orthodontic visit will consist of a thorough examination and discussion of potential treatment options. This important visit will address your orthodontic needs to determine if this is the proper time to begin treatment. At the conclusion of this appointment, a treatment estimate may be given along with information about various payment options. This first appointment is meant to be both informative as well as an opportunity to ask questions.
Additional diagnostic records information including photographs, radiographs, and molds of the patient’s teeth may also be taken. With this information, diagnosis and treatment planning, including what treatment will be needed and how long it will take, will be discussed in further detail. In many cases the patient will be able to choose between Invisalign and Clear Braces or Color Braces for their treatment.
The longest appointments are when braces are placed and when they are removed, and these appointments typically last 90 minutes. Regular orthodontic adjustment appointments are much shorter and typically last less than 30 minutes.
